The same old story….
The city of New York gets a lot of water from reservoirs that they built upstate. For years, they've paid property taxes on the land under the reservoirs.
Now they want out! The taxes are getting so bad the city wants the reservoirs off the tax rolls.
This was a few years back. We don't know how it turned out.
If anyone knows how this was settled, please let us know.
