Whenever I see a "For Sale"
sign on a home in New York State, what I really see is a homeowner's plea to
"Please Come and Buy My Tax Burden"?
That's what every home or property in New York State is, a money pit for taxes!
Your home should be your home, not something you rent from the state.
And one more thing. It seems absolutely ridiculous that how much property taxes you pay on your home would depend on how much someone else is willing to pay for it!
